The Geneva Mission Committee promotes and facilitates Geneva’s involvement in charitable undertakings within our community.  As well as local, national, and international initiatives for those in need.  The committee inspires individuals and the church as a whole to participate in service activities by sharing information, providing resources, recruiting volunteers and leadership.  Leadership includes planning and organizing mission events, and providing educational information and sharing opportunities to contribute by deed and example.

As Jesus taught us to serve others in Matthew 25:35-36, we work to serve those in need.  This spreads the love of God, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit.

For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’

Contributions involve more than treasure.  We encourage donation of time, skills and expertise, and even a little of yourself, to help and save the lives of others.
